THE LAUGH FACTORY HOSTED ITS 27th ANNUAL
FREE THANKSGIVING DAY DINNERS!!!
For its 27th year, the World Famous Laugh Factory provided free Thanksgiving dinners for struggling and/or lonely comics, actors, and the rest of the entertainment community or anybody who finds themselves alone on the holiday. Turkey and all the trimmings, along with healthy portions of comedy, were offered on Thanksgiving Day.

Laugh Factory owner Jamie Masada explains: "Most comedians, actors, writers, directors, producers, and the like come to Hollywood with high ambition and low funds. Many have no family here and cannot afford to go home. By opening our door during the holidays for free food and friendship to the entertainment community and our less fortunate citizens, we create a great feeling of family and warmth." Last year, the Laugh Factory served more than 2,000 dinners. The Israeli-born Masada, a comic turned nightclub impresario, says that when he was struggling, he promised himself that "if I made it, I would give back to the community. This is my way of saying thanks."
