LAUGH FACTORY, EBAY, RED CROSS, AND JON LOVITZ
MAKE COMEDY DREAM A REALITY ON NOVEMBER 30th!

The World Famous Laugh Factory made history last month by becoming the world's first comedy club to auction off a comedy spot on eBay. The winning bid came in at $7,600, and one-hundred percent of all proceeds will be donated to the American Red Cross for global victims of all this year's natural disasters (i.e., Hurricane Katrina).

Our highest eBay bidder, Mark Moseley, offered $7,600 and secured himself a ten-minute set with Jon Lovitz during his weekly show at Laugh Factory in Hollywood on Wednesday, November 30, 2005. Moseley, one of the stars of Disney's MULAN 2, is a stand-up comic and actor who has appeared in movies such as SHREK 2, and TV shows including FATHER OF THE PRIDE. Mark also appears in the new video game hit TRUE CRIME-NEW YORK CITY.

Jon Lovitz adds: "I think the important thing is to recognize Mark Moseley's extreme generosity in donating $7,600 to help hurricane victims, and I really hope he has a great show." Mark is excited to be working to help Katrina victims. Says Mark "I grew up down there and worked in radio along the Gulf Coast, including in New Orleans, where I lived for two years. I have a lot of love for that area. This money will help a lot of folks who are still hurting."

Moseley's performance will also be seen at www.laughfactory.com

Laugh Factory V.P. of Business Development Shawn Ullman explains, "The Laugh Factory and owner Jamie Masada have always been extremely charitable with donations and community outreach, but now with the merging of the tech market and entertainment industries, we are the first comedy club in history to auction off stage time and broadcast the winner's performance online. We are delighted to make this generous contribution in such a groundbreaking way!"

Thanksgiving at the Laugh Factory

THE LAUGH FACTORY HOSTED ITS 27th ANNUAL
FREE THANKSGIVING DAY DINNERS!!!

For its 27th year, the World Famous Laugh Factory provided free Thanksgiving dinners for struggling and/or lonely comics, actors, and the rest of the entertainment community or anybody who finds themselves alone on the holiday. Turkey and all the trimmings, along with healthy portions of comedy, were offered on Thanksgiving Day.

Here is Dane Cook serving one of the hundreds of guests who attended the event.

Dane Cook and Butch Bradley greeting guests.

Laugh Factory owner Jamie Masada explains: "Most comedians, actors, writers, directors, producers, and the like come to Hollywood with high ambition and low funds. Many have no family here and cannot afford to go home. By opening our door during the holidays for free food and friendship to the entertainment community and our less fortunate citizens, we create a great feeling of family and warmth." Last year, the Laugh Factory served more than 2,000 dinners. The Israeli-born Masada, a comic turned nightclub impresario, says that when he was struggling, he promised himself that "if I made it, I would give back to the community. This is my way of saying thanks."

Watch Dane Cook on SNL this Saturday December 3rd!!!!

Don't miss the chance to see one of America's funniest comedians grace the stage of the legendary TV show!!!

As Dane, a little more serious than usual, explains on his website: "The dream that I had in 7th grade is about to become a reality. I've been asked to host Saturday Night Live! December 3rd! I did this with my stand up comedy. Not a tv career or a film career. I did it because I was a good guy with great intentions. I never got caught up in anything beyond the simple idea of bettering myself at this craft that I love and respect. More than anything I am doing it because my fans are some of the sharpest, coolest comedy fans on this planet and you got behind me and never left." The Laugh Factory is very proud of him!

JOKOY -This Tuesday Nov. 8th, Thursday Nov. 10rd, Friday Nov. 11th and Saturday Nov. 12th at the Laugh Factory!!!

Jokoy began his stand-up career in 1996 at a comedy club in Las Vegas. The bright lights of Las Vegas and the stage allowed Jokoy to see what his passion truly was - a burning love for comedy and the stage. Soon he was making everyone laugh, and fans were impressed by the high energy and physical emotion he exuded onstage. Jokoy quickly moved from open mic night to being one of the most requested comedians at "Catch a Rising Star," a signature show at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino.

A talent coordinator from Los Angeles spotted Jokoy and landed him his first television appearance on the nationally syndicated show BET's Comic View. Audiences have now laughed with Jokoy on two seasons of Comic View and watched him become a Showtime at the Apollo winner. Since then Jokoy has performed his energetic brand of comedy for the American troops stationed in Japan, Korea, and Okinawa as part of the USO tour. He has also opened for headlining acts such as Dave Chappelle (Chappelle's Show), Mike Epps (Next Friday), and Snoop Dogg.

Currently Jokoy is touring the college circuit as a featured comedian and performing in comedy clubs across the country. You can catch him right now on VH1's I Love the 80's, or at the Hollywood Laugh Factory alongside fellow regulars like Jon Lovitz, Harland Williams, and Dane Cook. Look out for many upcoming TV and film appearances from this rising comedian, and be sure to check his website (jokoy.com) for media clips and updates, or visit his page on myspace (myspace.com/jokoy).
